On Monday 15 March I'm running a Creative Writing Workshop for Young Adults at Hove Library.

Have fun with words and explore your relationship with water. Taste it, smell it, feel it. Walk on it. Have you got a favourite place by the seaside or maybe you prefer your own bathtub? Have you got a bad memory from a holiday by a swimming pool or being stuck in the rain? Would you like to be mermaid or a scuba diver for a day? Anything is possible in writing. You’ll be guided through a variety of exercises that will make your brain flood with ideas. No need for umbrellas, but bring a friend if you like!

Where? Hove Library, Young People's Area
When? Mon 15 March 3.45-5.15pm
How? It's free and you can just drop in on the day, but to avoid disappointment it's advisable to book a place by phoning Pauline Freestone on 01273-29331 or
email: pauline.freestone@brighton-hove.gov.uk
Who? You don't need any experience, but you need to be 13-19 years old

The event is part of Brighton & Hove's Aqua Festival - a programme of sporting and cultural events to celebrate the hosting of the London 2012 Games and to inspire people to join in and try something new.
